    What is a ‘pollo’ (sp?) ? Some kind of snack thing that was being requested at the start of session 1. Is it delicious?!

    That would be a Polo. It could be a type of car made by Volkswagen, but it is, in fact, a small circular mint confection.

    I like this thread! I think it is cool! I think there must be loads of things that our American friends haven’t a clue about 😀

    There were certainly some words that were floating around in Texas that I was pretty unsure of with regards to the UK!

    polos are kinda like lifesavers a mint i remember eating in the states

    I believe that Lifesavers are flavour with Wintergreen. Which is nasty! Polos have peppermint which is nice 😀

    Lifesavers come in many flavors, my personal favorite would be butterscotch. There’s fruit flavors too.
