Until about a week ago I had no idea This American Life (one of the really fantastic shows on NPR… Maybe PRI as well, I dunno) had extensive online archives that you can listen to at your leisure.
Now I am a filthy addict. Ira Glass is a wonderful man with a husky girl’s voice. I would offer my body to him for gay sexings, though this is usually against my inclination.
All you need is Realplayer or its far-superior substitute, RealAlternative.
TAL is, in fact, distributed by PRI (Public Radio International), not NPR. But chances are, if your public radio station carries NPR, they also carry PRI. A pointless distinction, really… it only matters, when, say, an old rich lady dies and puts NPR in her will instead of PRI or CPB.
You can find the TAL forums HERE.
Yes, I’ve been listening to TAL for a few years, great show, I just wish it was in mp3 format like Living on Earth.
NPR!!! Though Dave Sedaris is the funniest guy ever, well, after click and clack.
Great, great show. I’m glad I’m not the only gamer who love NPR and PRI.
It’s only news for which I listen with forays into the BBC.
I get all my news from Jon Stewart!
And from NPR.
But . . . JON STEWART!!!
Oh yeah, I also watch public television a bit. It’s good, mostly.
