(Sweets and bottles of single malt are always much appreciated.)

And if you decide to take your TARDIS out for a spin to deliver your prezzies in person, and happen to drop by on September 14th, 2013, you’re most welcome to join the GM for a night of karaoke and screaming childre- …err, festive youths.

    Muppets’ No Leisure Island

    September 10th, 2013

As Cap’n Cap’n & the crew of the Rhodium race towards the finish line of the Great Race, they reach the elven realms of Heartland, and encounter an obstacle more insurmountable than any they have faced before: table manners!

An invitation to the Willow Queen’s court is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and who could say no to a free party? But why are the notoriously evil and scheming elven toffs suddenly so hospitable? Could they have… ulterior motives?

This adventure in high society will reveal if Our Heroes are truly ‘Friends of Filth’!

Alec – Mattigan Smith, a dashing courier (and certainly not a Doctor).

Fin – Sour Milk, white cat Wildling ninja.

Max – Tordek the Unlikeable, Dwarven chef.

Steve – Jerath, song-priest of the mad god Festival.

Tina – Eyrie, an incredibly shiny Drakin sorceress/princess, and the ship’s owner.

Wayne – Captain Captain, Glowborn captain of the good ship Rhodium.

    Ross – the GM.

Intro: Black Vortex (C) Kevin MacLeod.

Outro: Promo for Welcome to Night Vale.

    Added silliness by P. Monkey.

According to certain sources, Ross’ house is worth less money than his neighbours’ homes:

This 3 bed freehold terraced house is located at 64 Windermere Road, Great Horton, Bradford BD7 4RG and has an estimated current value of £85,858. Windermere Road has 91 houses and flats on it with a average current value of £109,220, compared to an average property value of £99,853 for BD7. There have been 7 property sales on Windermere Road, BD7 over the last 5 years with an average house price paid of £106,928 and this terraced house was last sold on 3rd May 2002 for £41,500.

Perhaps this means that the property valuation people took one look at Ross’ house and thought: “Right, that’s gonna be a bugger to sell – who would want to buy a house with a foreboding tower of doom, a moat with a miniature pirate ship, and a helicopter platform for Smurfs?”

…Or perhaps it just means that the surrounding houses are worth comparatively more, because the owners get the amazing added experience of living next door to Ross? 😉

It seems rather indicative of how serious the players are taking the game that, when faced with a sudden influx of NPC Wildlings, Alec tries to turn it into Mario Kart, and Steve wants to turn it into Warhammer Fantasy Battle. 😉
