While browsing some older newsposts on Digg.com I found one about a blog or somethin’ in which a guy bought a Revenge of the Sith dvd that had been translated from english to chinese and back again.
I’m not a big Star Wars dude and haven’t seen Sith, but some of these translations struck me as pretty funny. A few favorites:
Revenge of the Sith = Backstroke of the West
“No thank you, C3PO.” = “Have no, thank, blow the skin.”
“Who could have done this?” = “This is what who fuck.”
Random: “I should really feeds you all dog.”
Random: “The Presbyterian Church like enjoys you not.” [Apparently the Jedi Council = the Presbyterian Church]
A line from the Emperor to Anakin: “They are just a flock of to fish for fame its person.”
“Do what must be done, Lord Vader.” = “Doing you needses must its matter.” [Maybe he’ll strangle some hobbitses later after the shoot]
And surely my favorite:
“Noooooooooooooooooooooooo!” = “Do not want!“
[edit for clarification: these are the english subtitles that went along with the spoken english in the movie]
WOOOOHOO!! Presbies!!!
