The Pathfinder rules are available online and for free. This includes:
– The core rules
– APG
– GMG
– The bestiaries
– Ultimate fighting & magic
You do need web access to see it, but still it’s a great promotion tool to draw in those casually interested in the game to buying PDFs or real books.
I’ve only seen this on my phone, where it looks very nice indeed, but hopefully it comes off well on a desktop too.
So, what do you all think? Like it?
Another reason why Pathfinder is better =). I always liked d20srd.org too.
An alternative to the paizo website which lacks formatting and cool stuff like other open design stuff is d20pfsrd.com.
One thing I found on d20pfsrd.com that was really helpful was they had pages dedicated to paizo modules that listed the monsters that appeared, with links to their monster pages.
And Paizo isn’t the only one to release with open game content, but they are the largest currently, since wizards bowed out with 4e.
