New Feature: @Mentions

Hey folks,

 

The first new feature release to the website since launch and hopefully not the last.

 

We have implemented a @ Mention system which will allow you to tag specific users in your forum posts in order to better pull their attention.

 

The result of this tagging will be a Notification in the Notification area in the upper right of the site. All you need to do is prefix the username with a @ and they will receive a notification that they have been mentioned in a post.

 

For Example: @[member=”Lindsay”] is amazing when she plays her Tengu Swordmaster in Shattered Star.

 

Now Lindsay should get a notification and come over to take a look at the thread.

 

Please don’t overuse this or go crazy 🙂 Also – you can’t tag yourself. The tags can also be waved over to bring up the users info card. Also, no tagging the NewsBot :
