Hello,
Hythum II: The Halls of Kilgirn, a Neverwinter Nights module, was posted on Neverwinter Vault http://nwvault.ign.com tonight. The module is the sequel to Hythum http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Modules.Detail&id=4036 and features the characters from the rpgmp3.com version of the Worlds Largest Dungeon as henchmen. Balazaar, Feylin, Gerout and Bastion are all appear early on in the module and can journey with your character. I did my best to incorporate some of the banter and one lines from the game in the bits of dialog spoken by the henchmen.
It could be in the submission cue awaiting approval as long as one week before it’s available publicly. I will post the specific URL for the module when it’s available.
The module is listed as a beta, as I’d like some input from NWVault players before calling it final. In a future version I will be incorporating spoken dialog for Balazaar, recorded by Paul himself!
This module requires Neverwinter nights, both expansion backs (SOU and HOTU), all patches/updates, the Community Expansion Pack 1.51 and several HAK files. If this paragraph is greek to you, then drop me a line or take a look at the readme file included with the module.
I hope I’ve done justice to Feylin, Gerout, Bastion and Balazaar. I’ve received so much enjoyment out of listening to WLD recordings I had to include them in this module.
Best regards,
ENoa4

Oooooooh! I will have to have a look at this when I get some time shortly 😀
Would you mind if I pinch it to host on here as well?

You would be more than welcome to post it here. The zipped module is only 3MB, but the four HAK files required to play clock in around 30 or 40MB. I didn’t create those so I couldn’t give you the nod to put them here, you could link to them or I’d be happy to drop a line to the author of each HAK if you wish.
Cool stuff!

It’s officially up on NWVault and ready for business. Hythum II: The Halls of Kilgirn, featuring Balazaar, Gerout, Bastion and Feylin can be downloaded from NWVault. The address is http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Modules.Detail&id=4060
Enjoy!

In the half day this module has been up it’s already had 50+ downloads. Not a bad start. I have had a handful of e-mails, one bug, some constructive critisicm and good number of psoitive comments.
One gentleman who’s just getting started asked if there would be a dwarven henchmen. Is there ever! We’ve got better than a ‘dwarven henchmen’, we’ve got BALAZAAR! (who has a number of very entertaining things to say).
I’ve posted links to rpgmp3 in the readme and in the module itself. Hopefully there is some additional traffic headed this way as a result.

Hythum II now has an active form at RSN http://rpgs.sytes.net/viewforum.php?f=34. I imagine it will mostly be bug reports at first, but perhaps someone will say something about the fabled WLD characters. Check it out if you are curious.

Hi,
The orignal NWN module, Hythum, made the Hall of Fame on NWVault today. http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Modules.Detail&id=4036. The sequel to this module, Hythum II: The Halls of Kilgirn http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Modules.Detail&id=4060 features characters from the rpgmp3 version of WLD.
The original module has 5300+ downloads and the Hythum II has 122 in it’s first five days. Hopefully interest in the first module, coupled with the Hall of Fame listing will get people interested in Hythum II. I hope that when people play Hythum II they wind up visiting this site so they can enjoy WLD as much as I have. 🙂

I’m a Neverwinter Player and Designer myself and I know how much effort goes into creating one of these modules. It is a labor of love. Sadly, I haven’t yet sprung for Hordes of the Underdark.
However, one of these days I will and then your modules will be at the top of my list!
Keep up the great work.

I’ve decided to change the status of Hythum II: The Halls of Kilgirn from beta to gold/final. I’ve had good feedback via e-mail this week and I think it’s solid enough to roll with it. Please let me know if you find problems, I will GLADLY fix them.
I tweaked a couple of lines of dialog between the last beta release and the 1.0 version, nothing major.
Enjoy.

I thought you might enjoy some pictures of the WLD characters in the Hythum II: The Halls of Kilgirn.
Our hero’s prepare to enter the Halls of the dwarf lords.
The high tower of Kilgirn.
A bridge within the Halls of Kilgirn.
Felyin approaches the errie tower (checking for traps of course).
Deep within the halls of Kilgirn.
Also, Shathis gave me some input on Gerout’s dialog, which I altered a bit in version 1.1 of the module. (Thanks for the suggestion.
Cheers!

Glad you like them!
I’m getting a few posts and e-mails about the modules. I’ve had some positive feedback on the henchmen, which are the famed WLD characters. People seem to be enjoying them.

Hythum II continues to do well. It’s getting great ratings, and I’ve have had a few people mention how much they enjoy the henchmen (Gerout, Feylin, Balazaar, and Bastion).
I was interviewed by another member of Neverwinter Connections about the modules I’ve written for the game. Check it out if you are curious. http://nwvault.ign.com/?dir=features/interviews/&content=ErnieNoa060205
