Just thought I would get some chat moving by asking who the favourite NPC in the current WLD party is.
I was going to ask who your favourite PC was but best not start them fighting!
😛

My vote goes to Slissth, even though it’s always fun to hear Boyikt tormenting Balazaar.
Oh, and shouldn’t Boyikt be listed as a wizard rather than a sorcerer?
And at least Buglak wasn’t named Bugwick upon becoming a henchman…
January 19, 2005 at 4:08 pm #562551Well spotted that man 😀 It seems to be my favourite mistake. I always think Boyikt is a Sorcerer for some reason. Perhaps I think it suits the shamanistic image better 😀
I like the all I must abmit 😀 They have all be statted correctly now by Steve, so I will upload their stat blocks as well in the near future (they are significantly different to the ones in the book if you generate them as characters).

I like Boyikt – and he so nearly killed the party. 🙂

Buglak.. definitely! I mean.. he’s the leader of a nation.. how could you NOT vote for him..
(actually I still think it should be Balazaar, leader of the Bugbear Nation now) 😉

God help me but I love the way Boyikt gets up Balazaar’s nose.

Bugbears have been my favorite since way back when, I’m not really sure why. Kinda of wookie like, aren’t they?

Bug-lak, leader of the Bug-bear na-tion!
as for others, hmmmm, evil Kobold wizard close to attaining 5th level, and who we’ve already killed once.
Think I need to clear my nose…

I’m sure you’ll just wait until he’s fifth level so he’ll be worth more xp ^_-
January 21, 2005 at 3:34 pm #562560They already got his EXP when they defeated him 😀
No extra for when he gets FIREBALL AND LIGHTNING BOLT 😛 BOOOOOOOM!!!!!!

Even though he’s not really an NPC, I’m partial to Iakack. Or Ipecac. Whatever that delightful trog’s name was. 😀

I’ve got to go with Boyikt, the Kobold Wizard.
I ran a campaign that took some upper level players and their henchmen an a wild ride through the outer plains. A PC bought it, and a few high level henchmen died too, but the druids black bear survived. It went toe to toe with some rather nasty beasts from the outer plains and lived to tell there tale where mighter men had fallen. Kind of reminds me of Boyikt, the underdog who keeps hanging in there despite all odds.

and that nasty Dwarf went and turned him into carbon filings!!!!
Although I am not sure what to think of the foreshadowing of “his body not being there” when they return to the statue room, especially considering the rooms obvious relationship to the Positive material plane……
Hmmm, do we await the sequel to Worlds Largest Dungeon.. Worlds Largest Dungeon 2 – Revenge of Lizardboy!!!
