GeekDad.com marks the occasion: “Thirty years ago today, Dungeons & Dragons came to Saturday morning cartoon land.”
After this film “them†became synonymous with giant ants. In the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon the party disturbs a nest of giant ants and one of the characters shouts “It’s Them!â€, which makes no sense unless you know the reference.
