Roll20 macro help needed

18 June 2015 - 07:13 AM

Hello all.

It's been a long time since I've last posted here. The real world has been hectic.
I'm here because I need your help. I've been working on a Roll20 game for ages now and I just can't get the hang of the blasted macros. Does anyone know if there's something I can copy and paste? A cheat sheet if you will for Pathfinder rules? I've almost given up on the bloody thing and concentrated on my table game.

Please help me. This could mean so many more players for my campaigns

The circle is complete and full of WIN!

Hello everyone.

I just wanted to bring up my discovery of Star Wars Edge of the Empire. A really amazing RPG system.
Do doubt, you all have varied amounts of XP (haha) with this game. I'm just rather excited at how the game dice
mechanics can add to the story. As a GM, this is so useful to me. I also love the fact that ALL rolls
are done in a central place so that the team of PC's can help define the roll. This completely stops
players fudging their roll (something some of my players do from time to time with the cunning use of miniature die).
I'm bringing the game to my group and its helped to attract a new player too (who doesnt want to play Star Wars?!).

Just the title of this game has given me a huge number of storylines for sessions, mostly thanks to various books a a certain TV show.

Christmas RP fun

14 November 2014 - 05:55 AM

Hello lovely people.

I havent been around much lately, mainly due to my wedding and honeymoon and many role play games in my new

position as Pathfinder GM. Its all going well and the games are well liked which fills me with pride as I've only used teh initial Pathfinder beginner game guide and invented everything since.

I was wondering if any of you have any great Christmas game adventures I can take my group through? I'm a very festive man and liek doing things to help teh Christmas cheer :)

Potential bad situation.

01 August 2014 - 05:36 AM

Greetings my guru's of table-top. I might be facing an interesting situation within my new group game.

I had a test run with a new member and he was great. Really got into the game and his role playing was awesome.

Really challenged me. The problem is another player in the team is a rules nut and can be a real pain in the bottom.

So much so that I had to ask her to calm down at one point. After the game I had a chat with the new member who

informed me that his game was kind of spoiled by the rule nuts attitude. He informed me that he's all good to continue

with the future campaign but informed me that his character's story will be focused on her assassination.

How am I meant to deal with this one? It could be very interesting but i can foresee arguments.

Semi sandbox RPG advice.

Hello all.

I'm currently working on my first Roll20 game and I'm using the Pathfinder Serpent's Skull adventure path.

After reading the book I've found that there's no real set progression to any of the main dungeons. As I've never GM'd a sandbox

RPG I'm not sure whether i need to prepare mini dungeons for all the ship wrecks and dozens of enchants all around the

Island or try to push them (PC's) in the right direction.

I'd appreciate any advice on running this game.
