Once its finished I'll post on here :). I must warn you though that, like most RP groups, we have a few "house rules". I'm sure my fellow

Pathfinder players would agree that some rules are unneccessary while its always fun to completely steal rules from other games :)

The Strand Gamers played a one-off session of the game, if anyone's interested in hearing about it in action:

Star Wars: Escape from Mos Shuuta

Just downloaded it but so far its so noisey. Someone seems to be playing with paper and eating very loadly. They needed to move the mic lol.

I aquired a copy of the Star Wars D20 game and while it seems perfectly fine, I quite like the idea of having a variety of different game systems running

for my group.

It is indeed the Fantasy Flights remake. The dice system work with 14 dice, all with symbols on them rather than number and works on a system of Successes, failures, positive and negative icons. (Apparently, these dice are remenicent to war hammer die though i've never played it.) This means you could fail on a roll but get benefitial extras. The players get to role play these outcomes if they want. An example could be you miss hitting the storm trooper with a headshot but hit his gun, breaking it. It make the PC's really think about the resutls and of story elements. This also means taht all rolls are done in a central place so there's no PC roll fudging. Also, there are no levels. Charcters spend XP on new skills and stats. Its also got an extremely straight forward character gen system where the hardest part of it is coming up with your back story.

After that is done its a simple matter of,

1.choosing a race

2. choosing a profession

3. Add the stat benefits from teh above.

4. Buy equipment with your start up money.

5. Spend start up XP on stats, moves etc.

6. (this is teh best part) Choose your ship (EEEE).

Play the game!! As you might notice, I'm a huge Star Wars fan.
