Rise of the Godhands

31 July 2013 - 10:47 AM

Hi all! While my group and I have never done any mp3 recordings of our games, I do have a write up of the very first Third Edition game I ran, that went from first to twentieth level. It is all the campaign journals that I wrote up for the 3 or so year campaign. So if anyone is interested in READING, I am willing to post the many many pages as my contribution to RPGMP3.

Digital Artist - Ye Olde School Edition

17 July 2013 - 12:36 PM

I saw a thread on the forum before talking about drawing on tablets and Wacom pads and such, but how restrictive they were and generally expensive. I picked up the new Wacom Inkling on one of the Amazon flash sales for a hundred bucks and it may be the digital tool for those who like to draw old school - http://www.wacom.com.../mobile/inkling

Basically its a page clip/pen combination. You clip the unit to the top of a paper (I don't think it works on tabloid size paper and larger), which triggers a open document. Then you start drawing and it records everything. There is a button on the unit to tell it to create a new layer, then it closes the document when you open the clip. Connect via USB to charge and access the unit as a Flash drive and you can get your files to edit in the tool of your choice. Works pretty well for me. :)

From The Shadows....

17 July 2013 - 09:02 AM

Hi all! I told Hal I would post a introduction for fixing my account. Not sure how long I have been lurking on RPGMP3. A long time I guess. I have been playing various RPG's for near on 34 years now. I am currently running a Mutants and Masterminds, D&D 3.5 and a Pathfinder game at my Friendly Local Gaming Store and am playing in a epic 3.5 game (Weekends taken). I do play occasionally, but mostly I run games. I have run all of the various incarnations of AD&D (Just finished a 1st edition campaign last month), Cyberpunk, GURPS, Aftermath, and my own system I have been working on here and there. :) I rarely use modules and generally run campaigns - very few one shots. It has been a pleasure listening to the various groups and getting to know folks in my favorite hobby.

That's about it for now.
