#97636 Bundle of Ubiquity

Posted by kendoyle659 on 07 December 2015 - 02:12 PM

Just a heads up to people that the current Bundle of Holding is a bunch of games and supplements that use the Ubiquity Engine (Hollow Earth Expedition, Leagues of Adventure and All For One). I own a bunch of these in dead tree format and I'm picking this up. :)

A quacking episode, thoroughly eggsellent. It really fit the bill.  Put another feather in your cap.

I thank you.

It's great fun to listen to. I like all of the characters in it and some of the dice rolls are spectacular. Nice to see Sir George rise to the challenge that Earwig had set.

#95346 Constantine TV Series

Posted by kendoyle659 on 26 March 2015 - 11:24 PM

I swear you just have a million webcomics that you draw yourself when you need them :P

Hal :hal:

He is actually Pencil Monkey Wrangler with a million monkeys chained to pencils churning out comics for him.

On the original point I enjoyed the series. It could have been better but I liked the portrayal of Constantine. I do think that the point of him seeming more competent is accurate though.

The truly super heroics in this episode is the patience with that the others have with Poe and his "quips". (Sorry Nick).

#95086 Lovecraftian Dungeons?

Posted by kendoyle659 on 09 March 2015 - 12:36 PM

Now I'm going to have to find a way to incorporate an Armorican archaeological dig into my next Call of Cthulhu game.

Will they find lots of wild boar bones and a mysterious potion gourd?

#95085 Bundle of Laundry

Posted by kendoyle659 on 09 March 2015 - 12:30 PM

Just to let people know the Bundle of Holding is currently running a bundle for the Laundry RPG.

These are jolly good books and I'm getting electronic copies to go along with the dead tree versions that I have at the moment. I also heartily recommend the Charlie Stross novels. They are a great series.

#95046 A Proposal: The RPGMP3 Old School Challenge

That's rather hilarious. :D Imagine a version of D&D where the Monster Manual only featured stats for dragons and dungeons - or possibly gazebos. ;)

Gazebos don't need stats. They just kill

Some cracking die rolls here - "Are you sure you're not using a D2?"

Also Nick is being a soft keeper -"I've decided you're not going to fall backwards down the stairwell."

Yup. I've got to admit I've got so many PDFs to read now I'm not sure when I'll get the time. Although of problems to have this is a pretty good one #nerdworldproblems
