@RogerBW posted a podcast episode which included some discussion of (among many other things) Space: 1889 - if you ask nicely, you might be able to persuade him to record an AP game session, as well. :)

This month, Mike and Roger consider three games of pulp space, and look at surrealism in RPGs.

We mentioned Rocket Age (which has done better than its presence in the Bundle of Holding would indicate with a variety of supplements and adventures), various theories of planetary formation (another, from Laplace, is that planets form as the sun gradually contracts and the outer debris belts cool, so Mars must have formed before Earth which formed before Venus), GURPS Mars, Flash Gordon and the Warriors of Mongo, Space: 1889, GURPS Tales of the Solar Patrol, the very depressing game Dog Eat Dog, GURPS Lensman, Dreamhounds of Paris, The Dracula Dossier, JAGS Wonderland, ITRAS BY, Everyone is John, Nobilis, Chuubo's Marvelous Wish-Granting Engine, HeroQuest, Exalted, Aria: Canticle of the Monomyth, and The Laundry Files RPG.

System Mastery Podcast posted an episode about Space: 1889 a couple of years ago, but I don't think they enjoyed the game as much as you do... ;)

Craving high adventure in an age of zeppelins, Victoriana, and space fantasy? Keep looking then, because what we have here is boring. This week Jef and Jon take a tour of the Earth if the sun also never set on the British Empire on Venus and Mars. Is the art horrifying? Of course. Is the whole thing vaguely racist? Naturally!

Editor’s note: Proof of horrifying art included. Check out that cartilaginous Robert Smith in a ripped bodice. That’s basically the only female face in this thing. Seriously, every lady in the book is drawn like she forgot to close her eyes when the Arc of the Covenant popped open.

They even made a t-shirt that has (almost) nothing to do with the game. :P
