Hot on the heels of the previous issues come RPG Review Issue 30 : The Superheroes!

This issue features an interview with Steve Kenson and reviews of Superhero 2044, Villains and Vigilantes, Marvel SH, Champions,
DC Heroes, Godsend Agenda, and of course Mutants and Masterminds!

There is a superhero short story, an organisation for Villains and Vigilantes, a campaign setting and story for Mutants and Masterminds, a designer's update for Super Squadron, designer's notes for Verge, NPCs for Marvel SH and Champions, a review of the Freedom Force computer RPGs, and movie reviews of Batman v Superman and X-Men Apocalypse.

In the face of multiple sources interpretations and takes on Lovecraftion Horror, for Verge, we adopted a middleground approach. The Irresolute Idols, as we call our “Great Old Ones”, are entities from outside reality.

"The Irresolute Idols" sounds more like a boy band than a cadre of sanity-blasting entities from beyond space and time.

It’s really not as bad as they're saying.

I’ve even heard that most graven of insults: “It’s as bad as Batman versus Superman: Dawn of Justice”, which is the new benchmark for a superhero flick sucking more powerfully than a locomotive, and more grimly than a stubblecovered arse cheek.

"Grim as a stubblecovered arse cheek" sounds like one of Hal's NPC descriptions. ;)
