Aha! And I have Friday afternoon at work with not too much to do and the pdf copy of Banewarrens from the Ptolus book.

Looks like the rest of the day just got booked solid.

But sadly, the heatwave is now just a distant memory.

I'm bloody freezing me!

And in August!!! :(

Hot water with tsp of honey, 1/2 tsp powdered ginger. Repeat as required.
Clears the head for a bit if you HAVE to be at work. :(

Bah, Hals a bloke. It should be wasabi & whiskey!

That'll cure what ails ya, or make you not notice.

Just don't mix Black Velvet & 151 Rum.

It does make every cell in your body instantly awake and sober for about 1 second, and not in any pleasant fashion.

It's regularly hitting 105 out here for the last month or so. We've been having temperatures between 95 and 100 since April, and it's showing no signs of letting up.

The suprise round rules are really freaking confusing and more than a bit stupid unless ambushing with ranged weapons or possessing some sort of invisibility.

Honestly? Down here you'll either catch melting tar or perhaps boiling maple syrup. We haven't had Brimstone in years. Too cliche.

Okay, I'm listening to part 3 right now at work. I can confirm that The Young Ones has definitely been shown here in the US, both on public television, later, by Comedy Central (Would you believe they call shows like that "Britcoms" over here?). I kinda dug it, but I was always wishing for more Rick and much more Vyvyan, and less Neil and much less Mike.

I'm pretty sure the only good thing The Benny Hill Show gave the world was Yakety Sax.

The Young Ones was also played by MTV in the way back, not long after it aired in England if I am correct. I recall watching it in my school days, but maybe it was only my telly that got it. It would explain why so many people didn't get my references and quotes.
