Pretty much agree with all of that...

 

Player options are nice but WHEN I run a table game in Forgotten Realms I will likely use my ADnD box set and other books for the setting parts :)

Its probably premature :) I have been trying to get a regular table game going here for ages and failed a lot. While playing online is great I miss playing around a table sometimes :)

I've picked this up and I think it is the 5th ed I'm least impressed with. I've liked the others so I picked this up after a cursory flip through. There is definitely good stuff here but I think I should possibly have waited for a few reviews.

It all went wrong for me when the Forgotten Realms turned into the Perfectly Remembered and Exhaustively Catalogued Realms. No blank spaces to play in.
