Anyone interested in doing something for National Game Design Month, AKA NaGaDeMon, this year? :)

Nice idea and an awesome acronym ;)

I know there are people around the forums who are inclined to design games - including myself. I haven't sat down with intention to design (or even write systems, worlds and adventures) in such a long time.

Once I finish my current course of study - hopefully later this month if all goes to plan - I will be happily returning to try and make new things and stuff. Might see about writing something for 5e :)

Hmm, I wonder if "a metric shitload of badly thought-out houserules" count...  :P

But really, why does these have to be in November - busiest time of the year by far!

Anyone on the site doing game design (or writing a novel, for NaNoWriMo) through-out November, this year?

Nice idea and an awesome acronym ;)

I know there are people around the forums who are inclined to design games - including myself. I haven't sat down with intention to design (or even write systems, worlds and adventures) in such a long time.

Once I finish my current course of study - hopefully later this month if all goes to plan - I will be happily returning to try and make new things and stuff. Might see about writing something for 5e :)

LoreSmyth: Reviewers! Like to review our new #dnd5e adventure "The Claws of Madness"? Get a free softcover or PDF sent to you (while stock lasts) PM us
Pencil-Monkey: Hey @Hal @anim5 either of you feel like doing an Actual Play podcast play-thru of a shiny new #DnD5e adventure? :-)
Hal: oooh tentacles :D
LoreSmyth: and lots of em!
Anim5: There's no good spray for purple tentacles either. Home Depot just has some "citrus" product. Doesn't work.
LoreSmyth: Not sure there's a Home Depot either in our story :) Maybe some effective swords against tentacles?
Anim5: Of Course!! "The Corrugated Cutlass of Calamari!" 0.0 ?
Hal: Sushi Knife of Tentacular Sashimi Manufacturing +3?
Anim5: If not a weapon, perhaps a Spell? "Spraying Spit-Take of Caustic Slug Beer." ( Level 3 Cantrip ) ?
LoreSmyth: Are you for hire as co-writer? :)
Hal: Always happy to help :) Haven't written anything since we did Labor of Love on the site. Ha ha
LoreSmyth: That sounds like it was the perfect ending note ;)
Hal: There were certainly plenty of options for happy endings in there... maybe I should update it to 5e :P
LoreSmyth: On second thought.... ;)

What about bludgeoning weapons, like a Squid Squisher +2, or a Heavy Mace of Octo-Smushing +1/+3 vs. Cephalopods? :)
