I think it should be the required task of all board members to think of at least ONE sea-related version of EVERY spell available in Ptolus. Shall we start with Level 1? :P

naw, Level 0

Hurrah! My copy of Banewarrens turned up this morning.

I can now put the first episode in better context. I like being able to follow through the audio adventures with the book to hand, it's like getting an additional 'Director's Commentary' in a way.

- and much cheaper than WLD!

Thanks Mk, she's doing much better, and had (aparently) a lovely day at my graduation. Im the first in my family to get a degree, so its a bigger deal to her than most.

here here! No matter where or what in or what level, graduating with a degree is a serious accomplishment. (sp?) You should be extremely proud of yourself! And with any luck, I'll be following along come Christmas. *crosses fingers*

Awesome, congratulations Lindsey. I'll never forget my graduation. The intense need to pee and hoping to god I didn't trip on my robe on the way up.

Your family looks nice, by the way.

here here!

Couldn't agree more but it's actually, "hear hear".

There are loads of origins for this somewhat unusual statement. My favourite leading contender is:-

Originated in the British parliament in the 18th century as a contraction of 'hear him, hear him'. It is still often heard there although sometimes used ironically these days.

although the Straight Dope's version is more entertaining:-

It is an abbreviation for "hear, all ye good people, hear what this brilliant and eloquent speaker has to say!"

Congrats, Lindsay!

On another topic, I've listened to Banewarrens Part 1 at least 5 times now and I'm listening to it again. I just enjoy it so much. :)

I too keep relistening to it now and then, meaning that I know it fairly well by now... need more episodes, so I hope there will be soon ^_^

Hi Hal and Lindsay,

I must say I'm quite pleasantly surprised that you started another RPG game. I thought you were both moving to Texas and the D&D party was over.

Side Note: Love WLD. I listen to it every day at lunch at my cube at work. Pure paradise.

So why do we have no PaulOCthulhu this game? He always seemed like the most likely of the gang to want in on a more roleplaying heavy game ...
