Well now, it's a little premature to predict a TPK...

... but probably only a little ;)

Yes, I'm hoping to run it if I can actually remember the rules for once.

Certainly looking forward to this. I've browsed the rules lite version and it's on my list of games to get at some point.

Unfortunately too few of the gang are available tonight, so Lamentations will have to wait a little while. This is a shame, as the delay removes my usual excuse for not having learned the rules.

Last night characters were rolled, loins were girt and Lamentations of the Flame Princess was begun!

Back to Nick's game next week, then picking up the second session of LotFP once he's killed us all off...

The first T&T session is currently oozing through the Intertubes to Hal, so should be available to all soon. We've completed the adventure, so this one shouldn't fizzle out!

Up next: GURPS spacey gamey stuff.

Looking forward to it.

Are you going to read for the other Carnacki stories for HPPodcraft?

Very good! You read quite well for the Gateway of the Monster episode. I'm looking forward to the rest.

Tunnels and Trolls is still en route, currently sitting in the RPGMP3 green room. There are about eight sessions, I think, and I'll send the next as soon as they start to appear in the site. After those are out I'm having a break from recording and uploading our games, so Roger is taking over for a while. He'll be putting up Nick's first GURPS Traveller sessions shortly.

Plenty more to come from the Aethernauts, with another seven T&T sessions done (the whole dungeon complete with no lost episodes!) and several more GURPS Traveller recordings ready to roll; we're continuing with that campaign, just a brief break coming up during which we have some Squadron UK planned.

Roger BW is handling much of the recording and uploading, making the process less dependant on me. Useful, not least because I've been plagued with computer troubles of late.

After that... we have ideas, but no game picked. Organisation to that degree simply wouldn't be Whartson Hall :D

Really don't want to seem too complainy - but is there a chance you guys could record future sessions at a higher volume? Even at the maximum my MP3 player would go up to, quite a few bits of Flight 13 were a bit hard to follow, and I can barely make out what's happening in the Wild Talents game if there's any other noise in the room (e.g. the kettle boiling - I usually listen to podcasts while doing housework, so there's always some ambient noise.)

Thanks!

It's a little more difficult than it used to be, unfortunately. My PC requires something of a Heath Robinson affair cobbled together to allow recording of more than one input; and even then it records my voice on one input and everyone else (through a splitter cable) on another, which means I can't adjust the volume of any particular person. Consequently, if one person records quite loudly then they have to be the baseline or else the file is massively distorted.

On top of that, the elderly software I use has been falling over a lot lately and I can't adjust my line-in directly.

Roger has been doing the recording for our latest Traveller sessions, so hopefully those will be better. Sorry to say I can't recall who did the Wild Talents sessions, as I don't think I played it - Martin, perhaps? It's not ideal, but you might be able to boost the audio in a program like Audacity if you're finding the whole thing too quiet.
