Guess I need to change our festive logo back to the standard one... Boo!

Looks like we missed out on celebrating Isaac Asimov Day yesterday, and Tolkien Day today. :(

Thankfully, we've still got time to commemorate Macintosh Computer Day on January 25th (which includes giving your iThings a good polish).

Oh, and @ross has a birthday coming up on January 10th, IIRC - although he'd probably be just as happy to celebrate National Nimbic Kazoo Day on January 28th, or even National Kazoo Week, January 24-31! :D

I'm sure @Fin and @WhiteKnight and the other BAGgies would be delighted to discover this excellent holiday, and want to celebrate it with Ross. ;)

You could just re-listen to the entire campaign again.

*Dumps pile of 100+ episodes in @swj719's lap*

That shouldn't take too long, surely? ;)

I'm pretty sure it was soon after the nimbic started multi-classing and took bard ranks. If that helps...

The descriptions don't seem to share such info...

Do the descriptions mention anything about an increase in interparty conflict and Monty Python references regarding minstrels?

No, sadly. I THINK it was in the 40's, but I honestly can't recall...

Did a bit of browsing in the archives, and found an interesting thread called BLOODY HELL! an early crismas presant!!!!, posted 28 November 2007. (See selected quotes below, and check out episode 27, 30, and 44 for further details.)

just wanted to thank the indervidual who sent me the early crismas presant!!

its bloody fantastick ,if my genorus benifacter and the acordlands second ofishal sponcer can PM me i wuld be most gratefull.

i am exstreamy gratefull and carnt whate for the next seshon!

however i wuld recomend building a fin proof bunker

I knew this was coming. A kazoo - oh dear! Steve is going to be so happy you have one of those :)

Now you have to learn the theme tune to the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon and play it as an intro to Warlords so I can get it out on the site :)

can do!

its not just any kazzo ether
this thing a master work 24k golden kazzo!

Why PM, when I can admit it publicly?

I look forward to the next episode.. :)

So is it a peace offering. :D

It's a trap!

Quiet you! Don't you go spoiling the...

*cough*

I mean, why ever would it be a trap?

And it's not so much a peace offering, as it is a declaration of war against those who had the power to stop his spelling, but did nothing.

:)

Honestly, I just figured the Bard needed a masterwork instrument.

I'm still looking for a gold-platted sousaphone I can afford for the other bard... :)

Sadly the new Kazoo will not be used in the upcoming episode 27. It has been sent off to the labs for analysis for anthrax spores, explosives made unstable by moisture and vibration and tiny venomous bugs hidden inside it. . . :D

If you (re-)listen to episode 2, you'll find that @Fin had plenty of other friendly messages directed at you, recorded for posterity. For example:

"Thanks a lot, Swidge! We know where you live, now!"

After a number of frustrating attempts, I received timely and helpful assistance from Pencil Monkey, therefore many thanks to him for my ability to now post Fotos of Feylin's Felonius Festivities.

The package arrived at my home in a traditionally accepted place:

Behold!  Ribbon as tribute for cats!  Also a most excellent copy of Numenera providing considerable inspiration, hours of reading and even more weight for the shelf of joy:

Thank you very much Feylin, the great members here and Hal in particular for organizing.

Ah, to Bag Eight or not to Baguette, that is the question. :)

FBBoFFaF VII had an entry deadline of November 27, so if it's the same as last year, there's only a couple of weeks left for Hal or one of the other admins to organize it. However, from what he's mentioned on the podcasts, Hal might be too busy with his schoolwork, this year.
