These involve a different and evolving audio setup.  The plan at the moment is to transition to Mage 20 when it is released.  It has been a lot of fun so far.

The download link here lacks two underscores in "Mage Session 00.mp3". Like so: "Mage_Session_00.mp3"

That should have fixed it - it was those naught Ass Kickers leaving spaces in their filenames when they uploaded :)

The things you forget when you havent done something for a while.  Hopefully I will get these out more regularly than past releases.

@Thing is going to try and code in a check for spaces and ampersands, which are our worst culprits for breaking stuff :D

Or we might just go with a whole other form in the future. It is in his capable hands at the moment :)

Loved listening to this chargen session. Quite entertaining. Plus I got to learn a bit about Mage finally.

The game has been tons of fun so far.  Hope to have some of the actual prelude and gameplay episodes uploaded this week.

Please do! Chargen was an enjoyable listen, and I look forward to see how the characters will develop from there.

I'm a little fascinated by your chargen process, by the way. It sounds like an excellent way to create a skeleton for your character's behaviour and personality, and anything you don't like you can always discard. Where do you get all these tables from?

They are from an old series of books called Central Casting.  There is Central Casting: Heroes Now! Central Casting Heroes of Legend and Central Casting Heroes for Tomorrow. There is also Central Casting: Dungeons.  'Now' is for modern characters as well as modern horror/super characters.  'Legend' is for fantasy characters.  I prefer the second edition of that one as it is larger.  'Tomorrow' is for sci-fi games, and 'Dungeons' of course for random generation of fantasy dungeons.  When I run with them I much prefer to use them as just background event generators for characters, but the events also include stat/skill modifiers and personality tweaks if you want to go all out.  Your best chance to find one is likely Ebay or a torrent site as they are long out of print.

Heroes of Legend is a lot of fun. I've used it for at least the last four D&D games here.
