After so long running it (as well as posting this post twice thanks to technical difficulties) I can say that the World's Largest Dungeon was one of the hardest things I have had to run. This was mainly due to the massive restrictions on the party and the difficulties of balancing fairness with playability while at the same time leaving things challenging. You will have noticed that I took some liberties throughout the running of the game and for this I make no apologies.

I am extremely proud of what we have achieved and stand by every decision and rules change I made as we went along. I took some slight liberties with the ending I must say. It had to end in a way befitting the game and it needed a heroic high note. I hope it meets your expectations after 5 days of listening :D

It has been my honour to run this game for such an appreciative audience. Long may it continue!

Thanks to all of you from the players and myself!
Enjoy

Yes, I am also greatly looking forward to this finale - and the next project! :)

As I said in the now-lost thread, I've started listening to all the WLD sessions from the beginning again (up to session 9 so far). So many Darkmantles!

It'll be very interesting to listen to the final session now that I've refreshed my memory of the first few. I can't wait!

Congratulations, can't wait for the next adventure. 8)

The big question now is when do we see some merchandising, conventions t-shirts, books etc.

How about some book titles - Tharus my life as a mouse

Feylins Book of quotes.

How about Bastions CD of sound effects to be played during future dungeonering.

Finally managed to download the last session!

I'm still baffled why this one was so difficult to download compared to previous sessions because it is shorter :?

I had to use FLASHGET to do it. I mention it here for my own reference so if I forget what it's called I know I mentioned here it on RPGMP3

I was toying with the idea of holding the next bit of my scenario hostage until I'd got it

I actually briefly thought my umpteenth attempt at downloading
had messed up the site!

Will_Save, we have a cafe press site somewhere, and sell some of the orgional character stuff...you too can wear Feylin briefs...http://www.cafepress.com/rpgmp3

Sinister, I had been wondering if there was a corrilation between your struggles and the downtime...i had a few issues yesterday before it went down...bunch of idiots...i was pretty annoyed for Hal yesterday, he worked for hours over the last few days on the site, with releasing session 40 and all the accompanying promo, and deleted by a bunch of feckwits!!!

Grr....

Anyway, on behalf of both myself and Hal, we really are very sorry for the problem and hope we can make it up to you...

(and Things camping, so i even get to say that without him perving it up...Woo)

I think that is a great idea and something that may well be in the pipeline leading towards something even bigger ;) I must say I am glad that the Dungeon is over and that the ending was OK. Did you all like the ending? It was a little twee but I think the players deserved it :P

I liked the dungeon very much and thought you guys did a great job with it. I really enjoyed listening to each episode.

As a whole I thought there were many parts that seemed a little unbalanced and randomly so. Maybe they expected a larger or more experienced party to go through the adventure. I was surprised to hear most of the "to increase the challange rating of this encounter...." side bars. As if you needed that.

I always feel that major end monsters can be somewhat of an issue. They typically are impervious to the fighters and resistant to the magic users. So how do you defeat them............come on 20's.

I can't stand to see a sad site owner.
Would a few pounds in your pocket cheer you up? A few quid in the coffer?
