Can you do that? I thought we were playing with the LARP safe map?

Halliday's Midweek Special, used in his 1987 title defence. Belsize Park temporarily acts as a triple junction.

Wasn't that the match when he took on the Russian master, Alexei "One Man Gang" Ivanchuk?

That's the one. Ivanchuk threw away his early advantage by playing Covent Garden on the second rubber. Never recovered after that.

He could have tried to go for an Edinburgh exchange... Or was that introduced in a later rules addendum?

I didn't know East Croydon had an underground station or is that one of those ghost stations that Churchill built?

And anyway, I know for a fact this proud game has stretched as far afield as the colonies as the Orient in its long history! ;)

Ah, the Crutchingflange Existential Metaphasic Rules, 1874.

In that case, I don my ceremonial fez and move to Down Street with my acolytes.

If we're invoking such outré options then I should like to play the Stegosaurus from my Panini Dinosaur sticker album. Or I'll swap it for a Dimetrodon, if you have one.

Unfortunately, the only thing I have to trade using the Panini rules is a dog-eared Aughra from the Dark Crystal. But I believe if you take her and I get your Dimetrodon we can both move into the Isle of Dogs as per the 1982 Sticker Exchange Convention, Abridged!

Ok looks like no ones won this game yet so I'll join in at Piccadilly circus and immediately use addendum U-96 to move so long as i leave and therefore say bye to both Piccadilly and Leicester square. Now upon moving to Liverpool street my equipped Gerrard jersey allows me to start a team and appoint captains. I choose Hal and former game winner Lindsay as captains and take position of lieutenant. That will end my movement for now.

Ok since lindsay has not entered The london underground within 24 hours of being appointed as captain she is is demoted to sergeant which with her previous knowledge of the mornington crescent location and her advanced maps she was allowed to use as a captain allows me her now commanding officer to place her as defense outside mornington crescent to defend against other players until an officer of our team can find a way to get there. Good luck getting past her
