It's a shame that the Darkmage LED Spellcasting Staff is, apparently, an April Fools prank.

Incant softly and carry a big stick

When we were looking for a product to pair with our Technomancer Digital Wizard Hoodie, our thoughts immediately turned to wands. It was only natural. We'd just all been sorted into our Hogwarts houses, so we had Harry Potter's world on the brain, in which a majority of the magic users employ wands.

But then we realized that a true Technomancer would wield something more... significant. When you can make Energy Beams come out of your palms, folks expect more out of you. Plus, we just dig staves. We love that sometimes you can get away with not checking it at the door, while everyone else turns over their weapons. Some of our favorite wizards (Gandalf, Merlin) favor them. And best of all? When you're stuck in a situation where magic can't help you out (Mordenkainen's Disjunction, anyone?), you're still holding a formidable melee weapon. As opposed to a conductor's baton.

It would have been a nice addition to your next real-life Pokémon safari. ;)

A kind of a pity this was released on 1/4. It could have made at least two generations of people very happy.
