Just listening to this Essential Mix from Skrillex
Pretty awesome. Anyone have any musical recommendations? Always looking for new things to make a day of programming less boring (or the gym less ...gymm~y)

Guess it all depends what you like/want. For something heavy you could check out Austrian Death Machine or Mindless Self Indulgence. For some 8-bit you could look up Anamanaguchi or Unicorn Kid (or listen to chiptune on Pandora for some more ideas). If you want funny and funky there's Here Comes the Mummies or for funny and wrong you could go with Stephen Lynch. If you want just a bit odd there's Pogo. Hope there's a few new things in there for you.

My music tastes run the gammut. To say the least it's a pretty eclectic mix. But let's share some of the artists I listen to. Notice the question marks as I'm really not very aware of what qualifies as what genre in music. Usually my favourites dabble a bit and have some songs that dont necessarily fit with a single genre.
Heather Dale (Celtic/Folk/World?)
Bellowhead (English Folk?)
Rin' (Traditional Japanese folk-pop fusion?)
The Delgados / Emma Pollock (Brit Indie)
And then there are video game soundtracks, video game remixes, anime soundtracks, etc, etc that make up my music library. But this post took enough effort as is.

Variety of stuff of different styles to follow ->
You just reminded me of Dethklok! Heavy metal band made for a cartoon, awesome music nevertheless!
I also really liked T-Pain's newest album.
Weird it doesn't let me embed more videos than this. Hm. Might have to split this post then!
