Hmmmmm - Nice to see someone who was in Lair of the White Worm still able to act :P


I think an older doctor might be good. I think you are right, BJB, there is still certainly a strong familiar feeling for all the recent doctors. It doesn't really matter who it is any more, which is kind of sad.

I haven't really been exposed to the older doctor who episodes and am in the process of catching up on the Matt Smith episodes. 

I've really enjoyed the newer Dr Who episodes, and while I agree with BigJackBrass' criticisms, I still enjoy the show and look forward to each episode.

I'm looking forward to finding out how the older doctor fairs :)

At the very least, the good Doctor still evokes passionate responses from people. That's got to be a lot better than "meh". :)

I heard it was the top tv series downloaded from US iTunes a year or two ago. That's big so I can't see the Beeb changing their approach massively tbh. Keep watching Classic Who good people if you need to. There's tons of it! Although I dearly wish there was more Troughton.
