I love Knightmare - it was awesome.

Also I think I have had a MASSIVE dose of nostalgia. I still pity the kid in the helmet. He really doesn't have much fun :)

Reminded me of this:

Never played it but the only thing I can picture in my head now is 32 blindfolded LARPers in a two-tone carpet-tiled room with two people on chairs shouting instructions at them...

Yeees, blindfolds at a LARP.

That couldn't possibly go wrong.

At least he isn't armed with a sock full of sand as a sleep spell.

Ok now I'm feeling a bit dated. Had Nightmare for the spectrum +2.

One of the many unforgettable quotes from Warlords & Accordions:

Ross: "iv'e gut twenny Beets of Forse tahrt i keap in my sog as a baccup wepun!"

Wayne: "Is it a crusty sock?"

Fin: "At least if the enemy captures you, you can commit honorable suicide by falling on your sock."

I watched this not long after it came back and my gods it brought back memories.  Knightmare was certainly an original show, its concept was copied and mimicked - as all popular things must, it would seem - but nothing can beat the original.  It was funny, absorbing and above all fun.  If this 'Geek Week' means annual Knightmare, then sign me up! :)
