Oh, wow...

I was introduced to this through the PS2 game Summoner where it was featured as an easter-egg where it was enacted by the characters of the game.

But it missed out on that hilarious introduction, that's gold :)

Yeah, I feel that they missed the mark with that one.  It felt too awkward, but sequels are always tricky.

I have to agree with that sadly. It was a little too long and bit clumsy.

It's even been re-enacted as an homage to 8-Bit Theater.

And of course the one from Summoner :) I finished that game - it was actually pretty decent as I recall :)

Inspector Gadget - I bet he is a rat bastard GM :)

How about some ponies?

Hey Monkey, you should do one of these :)

I first encountered it through Summoner too. I loved that game, but I remember pressing the wrong button right at the very, very end so that, having completed the entire game, instead of revelling in victory my character decided to wander off into another room.

But the sketch was a great Easter egg.

Sucks when that happens. :(

"Hero, we salute you! You have once more brought peace to our country through your mighty skills, your mastery of magic, your legendary prowess in combat and the courage of your oak-hearted comrades. What honours may we bestow upon thee in order to... hello? Hero? Joseph? Joe- Why has he gone into that cupboard?"
