I can't say I have. I have been eying the new World of Darkness system with more than a little interest I must confess. The books are so so shiny and nice :P

Might give it a breif outing in an experiment Richard and I have been cooking up ;)

Oooh, World of Darkness would be good. Vampire, Wherewolf, Mummy, etc. All good.

I have a perverse desire to hear you guys doing something like Big Eyes Small Mouths for some reason.

Thank you, Hal!

Hmm... If Lindsay's favourite system is CoC because of the insanity and darkness, WoD might be an interesting fit!

I have to admit I'm tiring of D20 a bit myself and am cooking up a WOD campaign. I'm quite interested in hearing you and your team give it a go Hal.

I have requested a modern game to play as all i have played recently is Fantasy.

I have said i might run a WOD one off/small campaign if Hal and Richard give me a hand with the rules and stuff... my little way of thanking you guys for sticking with us through Christmas, and Exams and helping us look after Clyde.

Breaks are good. One can only take so much fantasy. My group took a break with Call of Cthulhu last night. It was quite fun. Hopefully one of these days one of my other groups will get around to playing the new Shadowrun stuff finally.

Did I hear that right? I think I might have missed something there! Did Lindsay say she was going to run something on audio?

What do we all think? I think one of the new short games from Ghost Stories for World of Darkness (or something like that might be a good start) :D

I think that sounds great. One of the shorter games would be perfect for Lindsay to cut her Games Mistress teeth on (Recorded at least), and it would be great for review purposes. Not only expost a new game but a good look at how the system works for a less experienced runner. And I have every confidence Lindsay can make a good go of it.

We had a really enjoyable adventure when Lindsay ran the the D&D Basic Game last year at the BURPS 24 hour event (her first ever GMing experience I think). I'm sure L. will do well!

Which reminds me, I wonder when the next BURPS 24 Hour actually is?

Yes, Burps = that.

Last year, i did indead run my very first game, and for 4 of the most experienced rp-ers in the society, Paul being one of them. The game itself was pretty crap and i ended up having to wing it a bit. Only really survived becasue Paul et al all helped and were nice to me.

Though i might have gotten away with that comment but thanks Husband!!

You'll be fine, Lindsay. I haven't had any experience with the new WoD, but if it's anything like the old WoD, it's incredibly easy to wing stuff and gloss over things if you need to.
