The 2012 Christmas Special uses the Fiasco rules.

The desperate members of ELF try to escape from under the yoke of their maniacal overlord.

This session is very NSFW so be aware :)

Christmas Special - Santa's Sweatshop

Filesize: 236MB

A rather rude (and hopefully funny) Christmas special using the Fiasco rules to create the game and then play through it. Hopefully you will laugh your festive ass off.

Players

Hal - Twinkle the Elf
Lindsay - Merry the Elf
Lockhart - Cinnamon the Elf
Thing - Tinkle the Elf

I'll upload the Fiasco playset I wrote for this session if there is an interest :)

Cheers

You've no idea, unless you are already listening to it, in which case, you do :P

Hal, you need to make that playset public, it is amazing, if horrifying :D

I didn't even realize but it does explain many things, like why insist on sniffing new peoples... actually never mind. :D

I don't know why but I laughed so hard when Lindsay meekly said "I need to go make Moscow Mules". I can't say why it hit me as so funny, but clearly I'm out of the loop as to where it was from. :)
Don't care though... sooooo funny.

I have to say, I think this special harkens back quite strongly to some of the traditions of the original :)

Glad you guys are enjoying it - has anyone else made it the whole way through yet? :)

Perhaps you are too traumatised to talk about it... ? :)

It could use a backup theme like the very first Special. ;)

While that would be awesome, I do not second the motion

I agree with Melkior; the background track was nice at first, but turned into fingernails on a chalkboard after about 5 minutes :)

I'm holding out for a video of this before I listen, so I can experience all the visual imagery... of the players' expressions. (if the video got done properly)

I can't agree... didn't bother me in the slightest. I also live in a huge city where it's never quiet. I found it charmingly non intrustive

I'll see what I can do - the audio came out pretty quiet for some reason and needed a boost but it might be OK once I get it up to YouTube...

This was a fun listen, and I was glad to be able to hear a complete game of Fiasco.
