Hah! Excellent. That description alone is enough to make me wanna listen to this, but then there’s the list of players – you managed to talk Becky into playing? You mean, there’s a real g-g-girl at the gaming table?! 8O

Thank you Hal & OotAKu Gamers. :D

Just wait until our Necessary Evil campaign gets posted. According to her, even today, she "won" the game. Much of her time in Skull and Shackles so far has been spent half asleep.

Interesting game. I was a little disappointed by the system, it seems to toss control up to bidding following every action. I know the emphasis is on maintaining interest of the players, and reeling off some quick fun moments, but I"m wondering if there's any room for more narrative in this system.

you could change the level of importance that starts the bidding, or have the gm have a personality with infinite bidding power to create situations for the others to respond to blindly as the gm wouldnt have to let them know what had just happened. Make the waking up in somewhere new experience a little more authentic. Heck, dont even have the gm bid with infinite money, he just says after someone has won next roll that there is a new situation as an unknown personality acted between them and the last player. The game really is designed for one shot/shot play sessions though. Each personality would have to share some similar goals, even if outside the point system to get them all pulling in the same direction.

After listening to this, I really wouldn't want to be John! Thanks for recording this insight into his life! :)
