Hey folks,

Lindsay is up for a chance at being the RAW Accessories Designer of the Year and needs your votes each day from now until the 15th of October.

Firstly you need to register for RAW

Register Here!

You only need to register once.

After that you can go to the following site and register your vote for VIOLET PEACOCK

When you log into the site to vote use the box at the top to search for Violet Peacock or go to the Violet Peacock RAW Page and click the VOTE icon at the top.

Please vote everyday for this - I will post reminders here and on FB. The potential exposure from this will be massively massively helpful to Lindsay moving forward.

The site is currently the slowest thing in the world but it is still working. Please be patient and help Lindsay be even more awesome.

Please share this with everyone you know and try to get them to do the same...

Cheers
Hal :hal:

Thanks folks,

Keep trying - I know the site sucks. Apparently they are "working on it".

Remember to vote tomorrow :P

I have added the link to my "comics" folder so when I check my comics in the morning, it will remind me to vote.

So, does anyone have any ideas on how to get more people to vote? Most of my "friends" are pretty much ignoring it, and not voting, so Im trying to figure out any other strategies that might work..

voted. multiple accounts per voter? audio ad at the front of the next rpgmp3 releases? flyer at local libraries for people who show up to use the internet? flyer at local fashion classes? If you could see a running total of the votes I would say a kickstarter like bonus for the number of votes reached.

multiple accounts per voter?

If the contest organizers are smart, they'll register the IPs of the voters to prevent spam-bombing. If they aren't registering the voter IPs, we can go nuts. :)

The problem with IP locking is many universities and other organizations use proxies and firewalls so every machine inside will show up as the same IP, so only the first person from a given university could vote.
Some people use a cookie for tracking that, but that is even easier to defeat then spoofing your IP address.

Is there a page where it shows how the vote is going in the various categories?

Not that I have been able to find - it might help them out if they had something...

That's what I was thinking, often you can get a better push if you can post a currently at 2nd(etc.) help me/us win type messages.
