Some more Pathfinder awesomeness and a bit of a surprise departure :)

Temple of Time Session 02

Filesize: 88MB

The party continue to explore the first level of the goblin caves and one of them wanders a little to close to something pointy

I've only watched the video(*). Does the audio contain the 'bonus' section you recorded afterwards? (Or will that go up?)

(*) Go, go, VLC double speed playing!

Maybe not quite so unexpected, if PM's drawing is any guide!

Thx Hal, Lindsay, Locksie, and Thing!

I believe the spoken about extra section may have failed due to some technical issues... :(

Apologies...

Regarding the ass goblins, there is actually a book called The Ass Goblins of Auschwitz by Cameron Pierce. A very... surreal book.

Just recently heard this example...still quite entertaining nonetheless!

The Chicken-Fish ™ that Lindsay showed in the video, I believe?

"Image created for Chickenfish TV, Hong Kong"?! 8O Holy cow, Kixi's got her own television channel!

Turns out they're quite a common breed of poultry/pisces:

I kept expecting Kixy's mutagen to have turned her black and chitin-y, to be more like a spider-gnome.

Well done, Hal, for letting the dice fall where they would. It's not a good ol' dungeon crawl if there's not a risk of death. When my most recent pathfinder campaign was starting up (also set in Varisia, although more central than south-eastern), someone asked about the expected lethality level. I asked "so who doesn't have a backup character idea already in mind?" One hand went up out of five players. I think most people aren't surprised by a kill, although a trap is unusual to see. I liked the trip-wire/collapsing ceiling idea.

My wife is currently playing through Witcher 2, and I will often sit and watch if there's nothing better to do.

I never go out of my way to kill characters and when I have a deadly or dangerous something or other I always try to make is obvious that something bad is over there. :)

I also like to try and make treasure interesting where I can... better than just finding bags of gold...

I need to start getting this thing typed up and I need to try and get ahead of the party a little more than I am. I'd love to be a whole dungeon level ahead of where they are but things might improve a little now they have managed to escape my starter dungeon. :) I like to give the players somewhere to warm up before they can smacked with the actual plot.

Hopefully I can manage to maintain the momentum and live up to the promise of my plot idea.... (tremble) :)

Is that why you rolled up a Tiefling as a replacement character? You were thinking to yourself: "This could be Heaven or this could be Hell" :)

And deep in Kixy's chambers,
They gathered for the dish,
They stab it with their steely knives,
But they just can't kill the Chicken-Fish™
