Listening to this now. Thanks for the shoutout!

I think in the Ptolus campaign Brad mentioned how much he likes his summoner. How much time delay was their between this recording and Ptolus session 9?

I may have more comments and such after I listen...

Listening to this now. Thanks for the shoutout!

Carter is name-dropping quite a few people in this episode:

Lockhart: "Many thanks to Thistledown John and Ieqo (AKA Matt) from the Pantsless Gamers..."
Brad: "Hey! Those guys know how to play."
Aimee: "You think so? It might be a bit weird since I'm the only female in the group, but... if you're OK with it, I'm game!
Lockhart (slightly desperate): "You can wear kilts?!"

I think in the Ptolus campaign Brad mentioned how much he likes his summoner. How much time delay was their between this recording and Ptolus session 9?

I believe you can find the answer to your question at the very very end of this recording, along with a super-special offer from the Huggy Canuck...

Ooh, that reminds me: it's long overdue wall-of-quotes-time!

"That's a personal question from me to the audience: are you crazeee?"

Brad: "I like sticking pointy things into HER! ...Wait, that wasn't innuendo, that was just being..."
Brian: "Murderous!"

Lockhart: "You're making me drink the bad rum you brought back from your vacation?"
Aimee: "So you can appreciate the good rum!"
Lockhart: "Buuut you're making me drink the bad rum?"
Brad: "There's no such thing as bad rum! You just need to drink enough so you can't tell the difference."

"One of the horses that pull his wagon is called Harley."
"...And the other's Davidson!"

Storm: "Get over yourself."
Ash: "Fuck you, bitch!"
Storm: "Eat me!"
Ash: "...Later!"
Storm: "You're under-age, eww!"
Divine Voice From the Sky (That Sounds a Lot Like Lockhart): "Under-age doesn't really exist in this world."
Storm: "You're half my size, pint-size!"
DVFtS(TSaLLL): "That's better."

Harold: "It's my duty to follow Amiko as she tries to conquer this STUPID continent, watch her DIE, point..."
Ash: "And laugh."

Misty: "I like these people! You mean, if I can punch the other guy out, I win the argument? Reminds me of home!"

"We gossip about Ash in Elven ...Aw shit, you know elven?"
"That's why I picked it up - so I can know when you're back-talking me."
"He's very paranoid!"
"Ah, but Elven is a very intricate language, with many sophisticated layers of meaning. It is customary to compliment people all the time - when we don't compliment you enough, that's a back-handed insult!"
"Holy shit, did he compliment me enough?! ...Hold on, so that's the third thursday of the month, carry the ten ...Ah, fuck you! I control space-time! (Eventually)"

Harold: "Have you noticed the pattern those butterflies are forming in the air? They're an omen of Farazna. We could be dead by springtime - HOW FORTUITOUS!"
Koya: "I was not aware that the Book of Farazna held any omens relating to butterflies?"
Harold: "...Everything's an omen, if you look hard enough."

"Sandruu's getting harder and harder - and not in a good way, either!"

"The half-elf wants to show you her 'sacred grove'?"
"You come to the edge of the forest, and her jaw drops: you're looking at a fairly large farming field."
"Knowledge: Geography, WTF... it's a faaarm!"
"It may have been 50 years ago since I last saw the grove."

"I start speaking swear words in Abyssal, that only I understand."
"It's a high-vintage hatred he's spewing there ...I can't even understand him!"
"How DARE you use words like that?!"

"Further up ahead, lounging about in the middle of the road, you see..."
"A ginormous death machine!"
"Why, yes! It's called a T-Rex, it seems to be sleeping."
"...Really?!"

"Don't worry, we can handle this - this looks like a job for: Team Awesome!"
"...Maybe i should just go talk to someone else."
"You, sir, are an asshole - but well-played."

"'Scuse me, is this your T-Rex?"
"Yup! This is Lord Carvington... *giggles* I can't even say it with a straight face."
"Harold comes outta the wagon, wrapped in sausages."
"Eventually, the jaw opens, the tongue comes out and licks Harold, and the sausages are gone."
"He's just left with this vapid, stupid expression, slobber-hair? ...If your T-Rex isn't gonna eat me, move it aside, so I may go seek my death elsewhere."

I may have more comments and such after I listen...

"Turn this off, before we say any more incriminating hints..." :D

Funnily enough I mentioned this in one of the Pantsless sessions. It might be one of the two and a half lost sessions (one of wich wasn't considered lost 'till very recently and so yet may be recovered). We really should get on to busting that backlog.

Is there any more Jade Regent? I've been enjoying it so far.

Oh yes, no worries. It is my October resolution to get Jade Regent caught up to present. Expect some 13 sessions to drop between now and Oct 31.

Ooooh, that would've been clever. Alas, I've settled just for uploading them as soon as I'm done editting each.
