Fin,

Not sure if this has been covered yet, but I've heard you grousing a few times in the past about how you found the amazingly powerful Axe of Gorek at Dragon Keep a while back and then "gave it away", but isn't that what you traded for the 10-level Ring of Spell Store? Granted, Ross lost it after he... ahem... encountered Nassirul Hate, but at least it the axe wasn't just a charitable donation to Kor.

Anyways... just signed up to be a Patron, thanks to being addicted to the WotA podcasts, and can't wait to get caught up to episode #100! Thanks for all the roleplaying goodness. :)

Regards,
Ryan

As it happens, I just re-listened to the relevant session (42) earlier today!

You're right, they traded the axe for the spell storing ring, as well as a general dwarven IOU.

You may be right then, but what did Tarquin get out of that deal?

I'll tell you what... Nothing!

You may be right then, but what did Tarquin get out of that deal?

That warm, happy feeling of knowing you did a good thing?

Or is that the Nimbic pissing down your leg?

Nimbic Piss has healing properties that should not be discounted

Quite a few times it was Reincarnation rather than standard rez spells, so maybe Nimbic urine would be more like the mutagenic ooze from Ninja Turtles? ;)

Wouldn't the idea be to bags the nimbic?

maybe Nimbic urine would be more like the mutagenic ooze from Ninja Turtles?

That imagery disturbs me greatly...in more ways than one :)
