A new adventure rears it's head with a brand new forum and a brand new character creation session. This one creates a rather interesting party with much wailing and moaning and trying to remember the ADnD 2nd Ed rules after being awash with 3e and 4e for so long :)

Let me know what you think of the session (and the intro) :P

Thank you Hal, Lindsay and the Long Tall Texans but now what are we going to allude to in the forums to make the non patrons jealous. :D

Different classes gain levels at different speeds.

But different clsses levels are worth more or less than each other (so a level 2 wizard is the equivalent of a level 3 thief).

I've been having a seriously rough holiday weekend. Hal, you (and the rest of the texan gang) just made things a lot brighter.

I've been interested in playing this particular box for a long time, and am also extremely glad to hear the 2e making a comeback!

You wanted to know about the intro? The scream at the end was a bit much. But other then that I found it great!!! It was creepy.

Yay for second edition D&D! Thanks again Hal, Lindsay, and the Texans. I was very interested to see which system you were going to use next.

Wow, thank you all. I heard something like this was coming, but I didn't realize...

Ah well, I'll just shut up, download it, and enjoy myself. Thanks to Hal and everyone else involved!

Never heard of or seen a game of DnD 2e.
I expect great things.

It's headset time!

This is going to be fun, the first time I played was 2e many many years ago! The intro was good. How many games do you play at one time?

That's the one. Those two games are based on the 2nd edition rules. They don't make games like that anymore .... *stares off into space with a wistful look on his face*

I can't tell you how nostalgic this session made me feel. AD&D was my intro to roleplaying - good times!

I'm glad to hear the Texans run Night Below, couldn't convince a friend recently to run it as I learn AD&D again.
