Hello all,

I've been posting write ups of adventures from my two gaming groups in the journal section of this site, which is kind of hidden there on the far left hand side, below the patron box and above the World of Warcraft Gold links.

I've decided to try a blog instead, which I think is easier to read and organize, since the journal isn't exactly HTML friendly and neither am I. It helps keep me organized and keep my notes in one place, but I thought others might enjoy them as well.

Anyways, here is the link to my latest adventure write-up.

I've got two gaming groups. Group one has:
me (Brian)
my wife Beth
my brother-in-law Daniel
John
JoAnn
Occasionally, John will GM in this group. We are currently alternating between his Palladium Fantasy game and my Rifts game. We had D&D 3.5 burnout after tomb of horrors and Expedition to Undermountain.

Group two has:
me
my wife Beth
my brother-in-law Daniel
my brother-in-law Patrick
Lindsay, Patrick's girlfriend
This group just has me as the DM. We've played D&D 3.5 exclusively and are on the second module of a trilogy in the Kingdoms of Kalamar setting.

I'll just update this thread when there's more write-ups available. Questions and comments welcome!

My gaming group played Palladium Fantasy after about a 4 month break from it. In this session, the thief gets the rune weapon and the palladin Melkior Whiteblade fumbles his first attack roll of the evening.

Where Jade proves she is the rightful owner of Vagan's Hook.

Ah, Palladium Fantasy... Good memories, there. Rifts notwithstanding, I loved the Palladium games.

Good luck with the games, Brian.

Back to D&D 3.5 and the Kingdoms of Kalamar setting this time around with Group 2. We didn't play long, and it turned into one large melee with the PCs surrounded by more than two dozen gnolls.

Why large battles are bad.

In Kalamar, the 'heroes' find the dragon's lair and help him with an infestation problem.

In which the group decides to play exterminator

(Of particular interest is the KODT style massacre of mothers holding infants.)

Palladium Fantasy: It's only been a month since the previous game, so we're on a roll here! Melkior takes a fireball to the back, and we end at the beginning.

Rifts notwithstanding, I loved the Palladium games.

Disbelieve all you want, we returned to RIFTS briefly. Heavily influenced by the Whartson Hall Cyberpunk game, this session features exploding buildings and never-before-seen-in-RIFTS technology, a text message.

Two posts this time around:

DnD 3.5 Kalamar, with the introduction of a Kobold Cleric cohort. LINK
Palladium Fantasy 2nd Edition, with a fire elemental. LINK

Also, the GM of the Palladium Fantasy game found some of his original written material from the beginning of the campaign which he has given me to share. I'll be posting it up over the next couple of weeks.

Back to RIFTS this time around and there was some actual plot! I've got the first part of the session written up and will have a part two up next week.

Also, most of the written material from the Palladium Fantasy GM is up.
