The machine was satisfyingly horrible. The room that housed it must have smelled awful.

For such a trigger happy group, I'm surprised they haven't shot at each other yet. I think Hal's going too easy on em.

I wonder what it was about Starkweather's head that made it so desireable.

I have a feeling that if my friends were playing through this she might have had a more difficult time claiming her souvenier.

Or leaving.

Okay, I haven't listened to this yet, but I have a question.

I just finished reading this morning At the Mountains of Madness and having read that, I wouldn't have thought that anyone would actually go into the depth's of the city.

Especially when the writings are confirmed true by bits of notebook paper and six feet tall blind albino penguins.

Would this be considered part of the railroading? Could the investigators have said 'No, didn't you read this?!'

Wow. Was the entire adventure really one long linnear setup for one npc to take that one action in that one scene? I think I'll agree with Hal that this doesn't seem like the best Call of the Cthulhu adventure ever.

I think the tiny sanity losses at this point (compared to the dead dogs) was probably the adventure writers' deciding the players ahd probably lost enough sanity by now and wanting to give them a chance by scaling sanity loss downwards so it was still a big proportion of what might remain.
