To the tune of "Thunderball" and ideally sung by Tom Jones.

She goes to college where it's warm,
And now she needs a new dressform,
As orders go this might seem tall,
So she'd like a Fundable.
She likes to claim that she's no geek,
Despite role-playing twice a week,
But nerds, friends and gamers heed her call,
And she'd like a Fundable.

So perhaps what she wants, she'll get,
Through the means of the world-wide Internet.
It aids in crafting her own togs,
She might continue with her blog,
Yes it looks like it might be worth it all,
So she'd like a Fundable.

Hmm, I wonder if we can persuade Martimus to belt out a version? :D

He has to wear a bad chest wig and be painted orange to do a Tom Jones impression.

Just for that keener I'm going to dedicate the cover/travisty version to you... I will look for the music this week sometime, you have been warned.

I only said leopard print because I can't spell taffeter, or can I ?

Are the two mutually exclusive?

I believe tafetta is a type of material (like silk or cotton) while the print is just that, a print, so... wow, I think you just upped the weirdness factor on your garment request Marti.

Meanwhile, I have to ask, have you done things like this before for the site? I haven't gone looking through the filk section... are there recordings of you singing in there?

Ahem, er yes there might be few offerings over in the FILK section. You may want to take 2 paracetamol and lie down in a darkened room before you begin to listen to them however...

Isis and Big Jack have written tons of very funny FILKS, but as for my stuff I think 'Levels to Rise' has been my finest hour so far. Others may regard this opinion as optimistic to say the least.

I just want to add my 2 pence here and say that I can agree fully here -- 'Levels to Rise' really summed up a member of my old gaming group and is an amazing piece.

You've not heard my singing yet and with any luck you never shall.
