Okay, this is a quick little question to Hal and the players: do any of the following goblins resemble Splug? Of course I'm not meaning physicaly so much as his personality and fluke dice rolls.

I love the Rackham ninja goblins ;)

I never thought if Splug like that - I think he is dirty and sneaky and not obviously dangerous until he is annoyed :) Though now you have posted those I am sure there may be a more ninjing then perhaps there was previously ;)

I never thought of him like that either but the bandolier of ninja stars made me draw the likeness. I saw him as more of a shabby sneaky (in a very overt sort of sneaky way) little goblin.

LOL... love those ninja miniatures!!

I have often wondered about the post KoTS splug. I imagine after leveling with the characters, he will probably run off and make a great goblin chief somewhere... It would be interesting how he would interact with non-goblins etc after adventuring with them...

Anyway... Nice miniatures...

Depending on if Lindsay decides to play Thunderspire or not will depend on the future of Splug :) The game is really designed for 5 characters and so he is currently a placeholder. If he continues with the party he will likely suffer an alignment shift to Unaligned (which may be more dangerous that Evil).

We shall see :D

Evidence suggests that an alignment of "Lindsay" may be most dangerous of all... for the party's purses, at least :D

Hmm, so more like Reinholdt then but with a dagger instead of the telescope.

I'd almost suggest Gulgrenvoguluken but his "daggers" are large enough to be swords, he's got 3 or 4 of them, and Reinholdt's hat really suits Splug. The coat sort of does (he could even open it like a flasher everytime he shouts "poon - wah wah!").

What do we reckon? Shall I paint up a bowler hatted goblin? Not sure about the pocket watch in his other hand 'though, might have to turn that into some sort of religious medallion.

On splug related topics...Was reading through TV Tropes crowning moments of (insert whatever)

And oddly enough in the crowning moment of awesome for one there was this

Another chapter of Chaotic Stupid Ranger Does Something Cool: in the Keep on the Shadowfell, there's a snivelling goblin prisoner you can encounter, as well as a pit trap in the entrance to the main dungeon. After wiping out the goblin prisoner's guards, the party settles down to grill him. As DM, this troper promptly had the little git reveal the existence of a pit trap in the entrance, prompting the Ranger to just lean over and scimitar him in the head for being unhelpful. This group being extremely designated, he has yet to even get any comeuppance for this, and since the player has since left, it's unlikely he ever will.

I cant help thinking...what would of happened if he actually had character levels at that time....

I almost thought we saw the Return of Splug in the 2e sessions (have they hit the non-patron area yet?)... I thought it would have turned out nicely. Just have him worship Tymora instead of Avandra. Alas, it was not to be.

"For Lady 'mora! I'm havin' ya, ya fuckers!"

It still works.
