No offense, Ernie, but while you may be one of the most dedicated roleplayers in the world - you're not SteveB. :P

A question for Steve: is this game one of the new spate of audio games published by RPGMP3 / Yog-Sothoth? Even if not, it is quite wonderful for us listeners to suddenly have the world's largest dungeon PLUS all these new games available, all played by knowledgeable and pleasant-to-listen-to players. Not to put down any other audios out there, but it seems like any player who is even associated with this site or YS is really entertaining to listen to - a step above the regular stuff. I wonder HOW it's done, but I'm glad it IS done.

Hello folks,

The Patrons among you might want to check out the Patron's area there might be the first part of something new in there. Then you can come back and let folks know what it is like before I release it :D

Also we have recorded Session 29 of the WLD and that should be up the Patrons area shortly (I am just uploading it) and we have a hum dinger this time (oh my!). I even have a lovely surprise for you all planned for Session 30 :D

How great is all that ;)

The normal files should be released to the site as soon as I have time to process them (I am currently sat watching Batman Begins :D).

Cheers

Well, I've listened to it.

It's good! :)

Hal is camp, Lindsay is 'ard, Steve is a good GM (though wants to keep using the 3.5 rules) and the new peeps are fun too!

I'd forgotten the joys of 2nd edition multi-classing...

You have a bent elf and you know it!

It's great listening to you play rather than GM though.

Well, after listening to 3 of them now (ah, the joys of being a patron) I can honestly say they're great!

But I really can see why we moved on from 2nd edition... These days it seems very clunky.

I must say, from a player point of view, I am actually prefering 2nd Edition. It is far far easier to roleplay and the system does not seem to get in the wayof it as much. You can actually manage to not completely min max your arse off in order to be competitive and the enemies are far far stronger as there is no Challenge Ratings to water it all down.

I must say the Session 4 of ToEE goes to prove how close to death you really are as a level 1 character :D

It has its problems of course. The EXP system is rather tilted towards the larcenous pursuits. with them gaining extra EXP much easier and levelling much faster. HOUSE RULES STEVE :P

I love both systems but prefer 2nd for the roleplaying :D

Ah, you say ToEE Session 4. That means the raw session is close to being posted to the patrons area! Right? hehehe

Yet another reason to become a patron. :D

You are most correct :D There will be some new audio appearing for the Patrons very shortly. Another very cool WLD session and Session 4 of ToEE which is a MEGA HUGE MONSTER FILE OF DOOM at almost 4 1/2 hours :D

Its all good :D
