Continuing the onslaught of audio this fine rainy Texan day, I offer you...

Rolemaster Session 4

Filesize: 80MB

The party venture into the ruined keep to get their rewards for defeating the Bandit King and encounter his pet beasty.

More brilliant roleplaying from the group in this one and it is nice to see that they are exploring the freedom of the system and thinking outside the box about some of their problems :)

Linds, to answer your question during the session, I personally prefer to listen to you guys for a few reasons. One being that Hal has a great GM-voice (force + clarity), and the rest of you hardly ever speak over eachother, where-as in other groups *cough*WatsonHall*cough* I have trouble hearing what is being said sometimes. Even when I turn the sound on my laptop or mp3 player all the way up :(

I could continue listing reasons but I don't want to inflate your egos overmuch. The rolemaster system seems really complicated but I'm really enjoying listening to your game so far. Keep it up!

Hi there :) Thanks for the kind comments and welcome aboard on the forums (or from the shadows of lurkerdom) :)

Rolemaster really is not that complicated (though I guess I have played it with my specific house rules for years now). It is like any new system, but I seem to find that once the character generation is out of the way it is really just a matter of rolling dice and adding together some numbers :)

Additionally, I have to thank Lindsay for slapping some manners into the Texans and making them behave at the table with regards to the cross talking and stuff :) Most of that is done with finger waving and evil stares :P

Cheers

Welcome lurker and I have to concur with Hal the first few Texas episodes are difficult to understand because of the cross talk but they have been beaten into line. :punish:

We sometimes get out of hand just so we can get a beat down by the lovely Lindsay. She tries so hard to keep us under wraps. We are mostly quite do to the fact that she encourages to snack during gameplay so we can't talk at all. Sometimes that fireball to the face isn't in game.

You didn't think all that "nipple" sound check business was just for the recorder did you? It's the boys telling Lindsay where they want lashing next :P
