We are proud to announce the start of a new project for us. We are embarking on a more traditional style podcast to enhance the ones that already live on here.

Our aim was to try and create a community podcast created by many hands. It has been an ongoing process for many months now and has finally resulted in the creation of the pilot episode. We are hoping that you will give it a listen and check out the website (it has its own website and everything) and let us know what you think.

We are hopefully going to be releasing an episode every 2 weeks and hopefully it will work out and we will have enough to talk about and you won't get too bored.

Anyway, pop over to Geek-A-Saurus and have a look at Episode 00 and Show Notes.

Leave comments over there or over on here and we will pick them up.

Cheers

Well done to you for getting this out into the aether. The clock is now ticking for the next fortnightly episode

OK! I have just put together the podcast feed for this :)

It is live on the site with clicky buttons for iTunes and Zune or you can drop it in yourself using http://www.geek-a-sa...com/podcast.xml

Enjoy :)

Well be still my beating heart... I got home today from a crappy day at work (stupid bosses and stupid people) hoping for a new audio only to see that there was nothing new in the patrons section and then deciding to have a little peruse of what was discussed today. When to my surprise there is a new heading in the forums :!: Anyways I can't wait to give it a listen and I am sure it will be great. :D

Congratulations guys, I know this has been a lot of work for you Hal.

I really, really like the idea of you sitting in the lounge at your parents, it gives the whole thing a very relaxed feel. The two of you convey a wonderful warmth when you're chatting to each other, which makes it very easy just to go with the flow and listen along.

I laughed out loud when I heard the intro, I honestly didn't expect you to use the music, but it doesn't sound half bad does it;)

I suppose you'll be after us for more content now! Better shuffle off and edit episode one of Descent. At least now people will know why we're not putting out as much game recording:)

Well done again guys:)

In light of Lindsay's comment that she loves Martin better, I'd like to say that I don't hold any sort of grudge.

So, congratulations to Hal on the Geek-A-Saurus podcast! And to that woman who kept chiming in, too...

Gave this a listen on the drive into work and during my lunch break last night. The first podcast listened to on my new car stereo.
Very enjoyable. I really liked Jon's interview and look forward to more episodes.

I have just listened to my first game podcast.

It was good, with varied content, though a little odd listening to people I used to see several times a week. I had to remind myself that talking back to Hal and Lindsay wouldn't work cos they can't hear me...

(just like Hal's steroetype of American cinema goers :P )

How it rates against other game podcasts, I couldn't say. I haven't even listened to Yog Radio and that's recorded in my spare room by my husband :D

PS There's nothing at geekasaurus.com at the moment. Where was the dinosaur porn Lindsay promised?

Right after he weighs in on how Hal and Lindsay bumped into each other over and over again that first week.

Glad you guys are liking this one :)

It was a strange thing to sit and do after so long just recording games. It kind of felt like we were not talking to anyone :)

Anyway - it has been approved by iTunes so you should be able to get it up there now with a search (though I have yet to look) and feel free to pimp the crap out of it on forums you visit :)

I think I was outshone by my lovely co-host I have to say ;)
