OK folks :)

Those to took part in the fund raiser far to long ago and contributed enough to get yourselves a nice PDF copy of Labour of Love should have just received emails to the addresses I have for you with the link to download it.

I am sorry it took so long. Things have just been crazy. If you have not received an email and should have got one, drop me an email or a PM and we will sort stuff out :)

Let me know what you guys think of it. Hopefully we should be starting to see the characters that were requested to be played appearing in the games I am planning on running - sadly none of the fit well in Cthulhu.

Cheers

Might fit quite well with some insanities. ;)

(Yay, spotted my character. Cool!)

Very good Hal. It is interesting to try and figure out who asked for what character. I have guessed a few, but some are difficult

Found myself (well, 'search' found me). It looks great, good job.
Thanks, Hal. Do you have a list of everyone who's in it or do we have to guess all of them? :)

Looks really good Hal (though I suppose I should have been more clear in what I meant when I said I didn't need a NPC named for/by me).

I'll just vanish back into my invisibility, and hope no-one notices.

So how many people have read their copy then?

What do people think? I think Hal is looking for some comments, as its his first real delve into adventure writing and although Im often mean to him, he took a lot of care and effort in writing this.

I thought it was very good actually. I'm obviously not an expert, as I have read the grand total of about 1.5 games, but I thought it was well written and the names of some of the towns folk were hilarious (you know who you are).

I've only read it quickly through once but I liked it.
There's lots of hooks there for DMs to build stuff on as well as the basic adventure (an NPC cast of thousands, OK dozens, helps :D )
I haven't read many adventures but it seems a good one for level 1-3 characters, whatever class they play, especially as there are spare NPC clerics, etc kicking around.
Does Hal want us to send him any spelling mistakes, etc we find? :?

Is Bon Jovial Mr Steve? :)

No, he isn't. :)

He belongs to an evil little man who has a history of torturing entire gaming groups by gifting horrible "musical instruments" (to use the term very loosely) to hyperactive ADD-sufferers...

Also, the owner likes horrid puns/plays on words...

One thing that would make the pdf better is if Hal could embed mp3 files with clips of the various shopkeepers from the opening town. :)

Seriously, my only disappointment in this comes from the fact that every five seconds I find myself wanting to hear the way that Hal brought the characters to life in the recorded game. I could never do justice at my dinner table!

You are too kind, sir! :)

If someone wants to do some sound bites I am more than happy to give them a home :)
