Thanks mate. Very entertaining. Your heart-rending portrayal of the inn-keepers daughter was great! :) Had me feeling right sorry for the girl.

On a side note, the pronunciation of THACO. It is pronounced as 'thay-co' here (Australia), rather than 'thack-o', at least amongst the various folks I have played 2nd Ed with. I wonder how the original game designers pronounced it... :

And yet I'd never heard anyone say Thayco 'till Glen did it in this adventure. It was always Thaco before that (I suppose americans could even make it rhyme with taco which is basicaly an american crisp).

If you mispronounce thac0 you're wack-o.

I can't even think of anything that rhymes with Thayc0...

Perhaps in the interest of clarifying it, they should retcon Thac0 to be thacz. To Hit Armor Class Zero. :twisted:

In a campaign we had a Walmart style adventuring store called Thay-Co. The joke stuck.
