..It stikes me that a lot of people on here know a hell of a lot about me (and Hal et al) but I dont know that much about a lot of the regular (and not so regular) posters..

So..tell me something about yourselves.. doesnt have to be geek related, rude, or weird...Just nice to be able to think of people as slightly more friends than internet weirdo's..

I'll start..I used to be incredably involved with mylocal Theatre, and was in my local paper a lot..both for acting in loads ofplays, but I also did all the costumes for the local theatre productions..

My favorite food is canned chili.

I can recite all of the names of the fifty US states. In alphabetical order. In twenty seconds.

I used to do improvisational theater in college. I helped found the group and was even the head of the troupe for a while, though I botched that job pretty well.

I can wiggle my ears and make my eyeballs vibrate.

Hmm...
I like bellydancing (no classes to go to at the mo :( ), knitting and crochet, and am currently playing Oblivion and Dragonquest VIII, and need more hours in the week to finish both! :knit: :coffee:
I did my (2nd) undergrad degree with the Open University, who are a fine bunch of ppl, whilst working in a succession of crappy admin and library jobs, but I'm now a fulltime postgrad Astrophysics student and get up in the morning actually looking forward to going to work for the first time ever because I'm really enjoying it. :D
After years of moving around a lot I wish I had more friends that I see regularly, but I've been out more with fellow Astro bods recently (ballet and film this week, busy me) so that's good.
Oh, and currently my hair is purplish, but not as purple as I'd like. :glam:

Despite the pop-culture coolness of a degree in recording studio engineering (pre-digital) and recording artist management, an almost completed degree in studio art, an internship with a television station, and a onetime offer to write for a small local newscast, I've actually earned money for the last 15 years as a ..... residential and commercial real estate appraiser. Zzzzzzzz.

Ahhh, I will never get tired of lovely lasses telling me to expose myself.

Hmmm, lets see, I think everyone knows I am a colossal perv and a geek of astounding proportions. I wear too much black. I like games, books, booze and women (Not necessarily in that order).

I’ll see if I can come up with a few lesser known “facts”.

I am a man.
I have a beard.
I have curly hair.
I am often likened to Jimmy Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Brian May, some bloke from a band called Guns and Roses and some american wrestler.

That just goes to show how unimaginative people are if they can't see just me. I mean, it's not as if there's a huge likeness or anything, people are just stupid. When I say they look like someone they disagree. I don't ever claim to spot a strong or extreme likeness and yet they always deny it (or pretend they don't know who I'm talking about). So what do they think gives them the rght to pass judgement on me?

I'm also roughly the same age as all of you who put up player questionaires (so that'd be Hal, Lindsey, Paul, Steve & Finn - but not Lindsey, she's definately younger than me by a few years).

Heheh. Haven't heard from me in a while, have you?

Here's a lesser-known fact about me.

I'm transgender, transitioning from female to male.

In other little-known facts, I'm an anime nerd, who writes dirty dirty fanfiction. Oh how I love my smut.

i'm wiccan, an asca, visiting my brother (& family) in march (in alaska), have lived in DFW area my entire life, have a gf in ohio (yes i'm female myself), i like dr pepper (though all soda is refered to as "coke") i'm a blue belt in tae kwon do!

i am throughly american.. in my college gov class, the teacher had all in teh class stand who were at least 2nd generation american.. and went further and further back in american history.. the only person who had family who was here longer... was someone who was half native american. though my mom's side i can claim ancestors such as paul revere and dolly madison, my dad's side fought for the brits in the american revolutionary war (german hessians)

onto gaming issues.. i typically play an elven ranger archeress (i got a mini that had this face that just says "go ahead, piss me off, see what happens") enough so that my rules lawyer friend will turn to me on questions relating to elven-ness and all archery feats and related skills.

ok, that's prolly enough
