OK folks,

After the horror of moving countries and having to get a new computer as my old one died in the trip; starting a new course, having to buy all kinds of new stuff like cars and generally being run off my feet; I have finally managed to get an audio processed :D

I have had to use Audacity (which is free) rather than Audition which I used to use and have now lost so I need comments on the audio processing to see if it is up to scratch. I am still learning Audacity so be nice :D I think I have accidentally processed and saved it at a higher qualitty than normal but that is not too much of an issue other than the file is a little larger.

Anyway, let me know what you think and enjoy!

The Banewarrens Session 8

Is it working for anyone else? It's spent over half an hour loading the page so far and I think it's stuck.

Third time lucky, it seemed to load really quickly this time :).

It's that javelin of lightning anecdote again. Is this a new one?

Those links never work for me they always time out. I find it best to use the direct download links in the sticky section at the top of the Banewarrans sub-forum.

Hooray! More audio :D :D Thanks Hal!

How many episodes will there be, in total, of Banewarrens?

|It is a new one. Hal didn't tell the whole javelin story and they refer to the encounter from the end of the last session :).

I know it is a new one.

Obviously as the Banewarrens group is now split between two countries I am assuming that they've played the campaign to the end, and so I was trying to ask how many Banewarren episodes will there will be when the entire lot have been posted.

But if it is a special secret reserved for patrons only then I'll understand.

Indeed. As mega-poster of the site and patron, I'll admit even I don't know - simply have "hopes and dreams". :D

So - Let's Bane. Let's Warren. Let's Banewarrens.

Better now.

I was also sure we'd had episode 8; obviously none of us can count...

Thanks Hal! :D

Yes, I must admit I thought we already had Banewarrens 1 to 9. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding something.

Hal and Lindsay, congrats on the life reboot and thanks for the new audio.

Exept for Hal's post that there was only one more Banewarrens session to post up (so this would be it).

I remember the words "there is another one" but I'm not sure if it included the word "only" or not.

We have been given some accidental sort of hints but nothing really definite.

What on earth is a beg-thread?

Oh, dear have I started some evil snowball rolling somewhere?

Anyway back to the point of the post

I've just finished listening to this latest Banewarrens today, (helped me relax after a nerve-fraying job interview) and the bit that's stuck in my memory was the discussion that revealed that many role-players have trouble coming up with fresh character names.

I too have had this problem occassionally. So, I thought this would be a good place to ask, do you know any resources online or otherwise to help generate names for fantasy and/or real world characters.

Having listened to bits of this new audio, patrons do seem to have had this one (sorry non-patrons :( ).
Got confused there by the lure of new audio.
