Hey folks,

Thanks to Dulson (White Knight) on the forums the tradition of the RPGMP3 Xmas Special is upheld. Using the Santa's Soldiers system we have the Character Generation and first session of Trouble in Tinytown.

The players are Steve (The Guru), Fin and newcomers Ross and Tina.

All thanks to Mr Dulson and his new shiny recorder ;)

Trouble In Tinytown Part 2 - Xmas Special 2006

Hmmm. I managed to get it to work - perhaps it's just Firefox...

I can only get it to work if I click 'open in a new tab'...otherwise it tries to ask the tinternet what it is, and that tells it it's a wordpad file :?

Anyone else have this issue with Firefox? I've just started using it on my PC, and am now wondering if there are other issues I should be aware of

Don't know whether it is or not. Hal sent me the link last night when we were getting it online and it worked fine for me. But I was running IE7 which launched WMP11 and all was sweet.

Can't comment how Firefox handles things, never really used it.

Still if it's all working for you now then why worry. :coffee:

So come one and all and hear the exploits of Private Holly-Jingle, Private Tinklebash and Private Clang with their "committed" leader Captain Ginger-Muffin as they kick-ass for Saint Nicholas.

I run Firefox at home, and the files loaded fine for me last night. It was the quicktime plugin that launched them.

I only imported it to iTunes and updated my iPod last night to check if it played (10 seconds each file).

Today in the test bay I'll be listening to the joy that is Bradford gaming audio...

I used to have a few issues with Firefox downloading files. Especially after I upgraded to Firefox 2 but all of a sudden it ust fixed itself. It has been fine ever since (until my laptop died and it was lost forever (sigh))

Anyway, how are folks enjoying this one? I must confess to not currently being able to listen as this laptop is a loan only and has no capability to play the files (sigh)

I am looking to pick up a shiny uber desktop of humming POWER :D

And Lindsay a laptop to solve the problem with her screen.

The audio preocessing will be easier on a desktop in any case as it allows for nice speakers and a decent audio card!

That would be Ross playing Captain Ginger-Muffin. He was specially drafted in for this particular mission. . .

He will be immensely gratified to have made such an impression. . .

I suggest looking through the stock available on Newegg. Just about everything you'll need. Great prices. Quick delivery. My old graphics card fried itself. Ordered a better card off Newegg for half of what it was being offered locally, and got it three days later. No problems.
