(A bit of a long message but worth the read... i hope)

I am taking this oportunity to say a huge thanks to the crew of RPGMP3.

Let me introduce myself.
My name is Rob Hamilton, all the way over here in Australia.

Have been a huge roleplay fan for about 15 years now. Unfortunantly i do not get as much time to play as i would like , cause of my job as a visual effect artist for film and television. But i make sure to get a session in at least every 2 weeks.

I was born with a disability called Spina Bifida which for those who do not know means that the muscles in part of my body do not work as well as they should. For me it it is in my legs. (Now dont feel sorry for me) cause most of the time i live a pretty normal life. Still work, drive, and play as hard as the next man maybe even more. Occasinally i have problems with the disability which means that i have to spend some time in hospital.

Unfortunantly this is one of them. Have been having problems with the knee for a while and needed an operation on it. Cause of disability means i was to be out of action for 6 weeks. One of my friends who i also roleplay with came across your site. Before i went into hospital he copied all of WLD on it and told me when i was bored to have a listen. So of course 1 day after the operation i had a listen and was instantly hooked. Your group is very similiar in style and humour to mine. Spent the rest of my stay in hospital listening to the podcast. and can i just say you guys saved me from bordem and thus loosing my sanity.

Now back at home and still a bit out of action i have jumped on line to download the new stuff, cant wait to hear what's next. Thanks once agian and keep the dice a rollin..

Rpgmp3 seems to have that magical affect on everyone.

I'm from Australia too. It's great seeing more support from the community.

Welcome to rpgmp3.

Welcome aboard Madmoose.

My sister was bitten by a moose.

There seems to be a lot of people in the entertainment industry that are role players but can't fit gaming into their schedules.

I always thought VFX was an interesting field. Have you worked on anything we might have seen?

Na most of my work has been with documentry and corporate work. Alot of work on short films, some of them being my own. Am starting to move into the big stuff have worked on a feature film that was filmed here in Melbourne called Storm Warning. Nice horror film. Hopefuly that will lead to ohther work in feature and then on to bigger things.

Have done a lot for Toyota Australia. They use the docos as a way of showing the other Toyota factories how they do things. Not really that interesting to watch but they pay well, unfortunantly no free cars

Have just finished one for lawn bowls. It was lot of fun to do. They are trying to portray a young hip feel in the hope of attracting younger groups to join. Looked more like a MTV music video rather than an a documentry. Loved their choice of music, was a cross between techno and 80s porn music. Made me laugh every time i watched it

The lawn bowling one sounds interesting just from an ironic comedy aspect.
